Ahahahaha

Sorry about that guys. I totally left you hanging in the midst of my three part series that none one of you cared about. Sorry!

But in my defense I have been totally totally busy having a melt down over exams.

Today I almost cried in a professor's office. It was that bad. And let me tell you, you do not cry in your very British male professor's office. Because they do not know what to do with that kind of emotion.

Although to be fair to my professor he was beyond nice, and so comforting, and talked me through my panic mode, and then I left his office, and studied in the park and all was well.

But anyway, once again I have to ask you all to just sit back, relax and check your Google readers as we've hit a bumpy spot and I may not be posting much at all for the next ... twenty days. Thank you all for your patience during this ridiculous year.

Wish me luck!

P.S. Am eating a lot of ethically produced chocolate over at just means. You can catch my reviews this week.

I cried on the phone with one of my professors in grad school. The class was molecular and developmental biology, and I just couldn't memorize the pathways because I didn't have time with my job, which was and is my priority. Through sobs, I explained that I didn't go see him in person because I knew I was going to cry and didn't want to embarrass myself. Turns out, you can embarrass yourself over the phone, too.

We've all been there, you'll get through it :)

I cried a couple of times in front of my PhD advisor, who was very nice about it but seemed rather uncomfortable. Like Farmer's Daughter said, we've all been there!

Good luck with your exams. I'm sure you'll do great, and we'll all still be here when you come back. :-)

See, if we had more female professors maybe crying in the professor's office wouldn't be so bad. Maybe. Just sayin'.

I definitely want to hear the third part of the manifesto, but please get through your exams safely before that!

I cried in front of my students a couple times. They REALLY don't know how to deal with it!
